Mar 26, 2024 6:21 AM

08:48 AM EDT, 03/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) was hit with three consumer lawsuits for allegedly monopolizing the smartphone market, according to court filings published over the weekend.

Proposed class actions filed in California and New Jersey by iPhone users claimed that Apple ( AAPL ) maintains its smartphone monopoly by making access to certain apps, services and hardware exclusive to or highly dependent on the iPhone, eliminating competition with Android smartphones.

Apple ( AAPL ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
