Apple iPhone 17 Sales Outpace Predecessor in US, China in First 10 Days, Counterpoint Research Says

06:06 AM EDT, 10/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple's ( AAPL ) iPhone 17 series has outsold the iPhone 16 series by 14% during the first 10 days of availability in the US and China, Counterpoint Research said Monday.

In China, the base model iPhone 17's sales have nearly doubled compared with the previous series, according to the report.

In the US, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is witnessing the "strongest" demand through the first two weekends of availability, Counterpoint said.
