09:33 AM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) said Wednesday it has launched a new 14-inch MacBook Pro as well as new iPad Pros that are powered by the company's new M5 chip.

The M5 chip has up to 3.5 times the artificial intelligence performance and up to 1.6 times faster graphics than the previous generation, among other improvements, the company said.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 has a starting price of $1,599, the 11-inch iPad Pro starts at $999, while the 13-inch iPad Pro has a starting price of $1,299, the company said.

Separately, Apple ( AAPL ) said the M5 chip will be added to its Apple Vision Pro device. The upgraded Vision Pro starts at $3,499, Apple ( AAPL ) said.

The new products will be available for pre-order from Wednesday, the company said.
