05:17 PM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) said late Monday that Kevan Parekh will replace Luca Maestri as chief financial officer at the start of next year.

Parekh is Apple's ( AAPL ) vice president of financial planning and analysis. Before joining Apple ( AAPL ), he held leadership roles at Thomson Reuters and General Motors ( GM ) .

Following the transition, Maestri will continue to lead the corporate services teams, including information systems and technology, information security and real estate and development.

Maestri became Apple's ( AAPL ) CFO in 2014. The company more than doubled its revenue during Maestri's tenure as CFO, Apple ( AAPL ) said.
