07:30 AM EST, 12/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple's ( AAPL ) proposed solutions for complying with Germany's rules for transparency in data-tracking y apps are being tested and assessed, Germany's competition authority said Tuesday.

Germany's Federal Cartel Office said it is conducting a "market test" of Apple's ( AAPL ) proposed fixes to competition concerns voiced earlier this year.

Agency President Andreas Mundt said "the key issue is who determines how apps gain access to user data - and therefore who has the better opportunities in a competitive environment."
