Apple Q2 Smartphone Revenue Rises 22% After Price Hikes
Jul 31, 2026 3:20 AM

05:59 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) captured a record 49% of global smartphone market value in Q2 after its revenue increased 22% compared to a year earlier, Counterpoint said.

The company grew shipments by 13% and average prices by 8%, while maintaining steady pricing relative to its competitors, the research firm said.

Total industry revenue rose 7% to an all-time Q2 high of $109 billion despite a drop in overall device shipments, Counterpoint said.

Ongoing memory constraints and escalating costs will likely force device makers to keep raising prices and trigger sharper shipment drops in H2, it said.

Shares of the company were down 7.2% in Friday premarket activity.
