Apple Reportedly to Hold iPhone Event on Sept. 9

12:57 PM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) is set to hold an event at its headquarters in California on Sept. 9 when it is expected to launch its iPhone 16 lineup, multiple media outlets reported Monday.

During the event with the tagline "It's Glowtime," the company is also expected to unveil new Apple Watch models, CNBC reported.

Apple ( AAPL ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires but on its website the company announced an event that is set to start at 1 p.m. ET on Sept. 9.

Shares of the company were down 0.3% in recent trading.
