Apple Stock Is Moving Higher: What's Happening?
Mar 24, 2026 10:43 AM

Apple Inc ( AAPL ) shares are trading higher Tuesday. The company introduced Apple Business, a new all‑in‑one platform designed to help companies manage devices, communicate with customers and streamline daily operations. Here’s what you may want to know.

Apple ( AAPL ) stock is moving in positive territory. Why are AAPL shares climbing?

What Apple Business Includes

Set to roll out on April 14 across more than 200 countries and regions, Apple Business brings together several of Apple's ( AAPL ) enterprise tools under one umbrella.

One of the biggest changes is that Apple's ( AAPL ) mobile device management (MDM) system, which had previously a paid feature under Apple Business Essentials, will now be included at no cost. The updated setup introduces new Blueprints for zero‑touch device deployment, Managed Apple Accounts that keep work and personal data cryptographically separated, and improved tools for managing employees, user groups and app distribution.

Apple ( AAPL ) is also adding built‑in email, calendar and directory services. Companies can use their own domain or purchase one directly through the platform, giving businesses a more polished communication system from the start.

A New Advertising Channel On Apple Maps

For investors, the most notable update arrives this summer. Apple Business will allow companies in the U.S. and Canada to place local ads on Apple Maps during key search and discovery moments. These ads will appear at the top of relevant search results and within a new Suggested Places section that highlights trending locations and recent searches.

Apple ( AAPL ) emphasizes that the feature maintains its privacy‑first approach, keeping user data on the device and not linking ad interactions to Apple Accounts.

Businesses will be able to create campaigns directly within Apple Business through a simple, automated workflow. Existing Apple Ads customers can continue using their current interface with added customization options.

Brand And Location Management In One Hub

Apple Business also folds in the tools previously offered through Apple Business Connect. Companies can now manage their brand identity — including logos, names, and location details — across Apple Maps, Wallet, Mail, Spotlight and other Apple ( AAPL ) surfaces from a single dashboard.

The platform supports rich place cards with photos and custom actions, promotional showcases, insights into how customers discover and interact with locations and branded communications that appear prominently in Mail and Wallet.

Pricing And Availability

Apple Business will be free for all current users of Apple Business Connect, Apple Business Essentials and Apple Business Manager starting April 14. Existing Business Essentials customers will no longer pay monthly device‑management fees once the platform launches.

Optional upgrades, such as additional iCloud storage and AppleCare+ for Business, will remain available as paid add‑ons.

AAPL Price Action: Apple ( AAPL ) shares were up 0.62% at $253.05 at the time of publication on Tuesday, according to Benzinga Pro.
