Apple to Roll Out New iPad Mini in 29 Countries, Regions

11:29 AM EDT, 10/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apple's ( AAPL ) new iPad mini, powered by the A17 Pro chip and Apple Intelligence, is expected to be available in 29 countries and regions, including the US, from Oct. 23.

The new product, starting at $499 with 128 gigabytes. is integrated with iPadOS 18, and preorders are now available, the company said Tuesday in a statement.

The new mini, compatible with Apple Pencil Pro, will be priced at $649 for the Wi-Fi plus cellular model, the company said.

Apple's ( AAPL ) shares rose 1.9% in recent Tuesday trading after earlier climbing to an intraday record.
