Apple's India sales hit $8 bln in year through March, Bloomberg News reports

July 15 (Reuters) - Apple's ( AAPL ) sales in India hit

a record of almost $8 billion in the year through March,

Bloomberg News reported on Monday, citing a person familiar with

the matter.

Revenue in India jumped about 33% in the 12 months through

March from $6 billion a year earlier, the report said.
