Apple's iPhone 17 Reportedly Sees Strong Demand for Pro Models

06:50 AM EDT, 09/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple's ( AAPL ) iPhone 17 sales opened to strong demand for its Pro models, media outlets reported Friday.

Across Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Australia and New Zealand, people queued up to pick up pre-booked models, while only iPhone Air was available on shelves, Bloomberg added.

The reports further noted that the waiting period for iPhone 17, Pro and Max models extended from one to four weeks across many cities, with retailers in Japan offering next-day deliveries.

Apple ( AAPL ) shares were up close to 2% in recent premarket activity.
