05:55 AM EST, 01/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple's ( AAPL ) iPhone shipments to China fell 47.4% year-over-year in November to 3 million units, multiple media outlets reported Friday, citing data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.

This marks the fourth-consecutive monthly decline, following a 44.3% drop in October, Reuters reported.

Apple ( AAPL ) launched a four-day promotion in China last week, offering discounts of up to 500 yuan ($68.50) on its flagship devices, according to the company's website.

Overall smartphone shipments in China, including domestic brands, fell 5.1% year-over-year in November to 29.6 million units, according to the media reports.

Apple ( AAPL ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires request for comment.
