10:22 AM EST, 02/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) 's launch of the fourth generation of the iPhone SE this week has most likely been taken into account in the company's revenue guidance for the March quarter, UBS said in a Sunday note.
UBS analysts said that the average selling price of the iPhone could decline mid-single digits in the quarter, as consumers in emerging markets could substitute the SE4 for the base model of the 15/16 series. This could cap iPhone revenue in the quarter, they said.
The latest SE model could also account for a "modest volume contribution" in its first 12 months, based on the historical performance of the releases of the second and third generations of SE in 2020 and 2022, respectively, UBS said.
UBS maintained a price target of $236 for the company's stock and a rating of neutral.
