11:58 AM EDT, 06/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) said Wednesday that its self-service repair diagnostics tool is now available in 32 European countries, including the UK, Germany, France, and the Netherlands.
The tool allows users to troubleshoot and test their devices for parts functionality and performance, and helps identify the parts that may need repair, Apple ( AAPL ) said, adding it is part of the company's efforts to extend the lifespan of its products.
With the expansion to Europe, the company said the diagnostics tool now supports iPhone, Mac, and Studio Display models in 24 languages and 33 countries, including the US.
Shares of the company were up more than 2% in recent trading.
