Jun 18, 2024 9:35 AM

12:07 PM EDT, 06/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Applied DNA Sciences ( APDN ) said Tuesday its molecular diagnostics unit, Applied DNA Clinical Labs, will use GenXys Health Care Systems suite of clinical decision support software for interpretation and reporting of Applied DNA's TR8 pharmacogenomic test as part of their partnership.

The genetic variants identified by the TR8 PGx test will be processed by the GenXys clinical decision support software to identify potentially actionable drug-gene interactions that can help guide prescribing decisions by a healthcare provider, the firm said.

The TR8 PGx test and testing service was approved by the New York State Department of Health for commercial use, it said.
