05:00 PM EST, 12/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Applied Optoelectronics ( AAOI ) said Tuesday it filed a lawsuit seeking monetary damages from Accelight Technologies and a permanent injunction over patent infringement allegations.

The complaint filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California accused Accelight of infringing on one or more of Applied Optoelectronics' ( AAOI ) optical transceiver patents.

Accelight didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
