08:40 AM EDT, 03/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AppLovin ( APP ) said Friday it has retained law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan to conduct an independent investigation into recent short reports aimed at the company.

The probe will be led by partner Alex Spiro, who co-chairs the law firm's investigations, government enforcement and white collar defense practice, the company said.

Shares of the company were up by more than 8% in recent Friday premarket activity.
