Aptose Announces Short Term Cash Advance From CEO, May Have to Consider Insolvency Proceedings

09:06 AM EDT, 06/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Aptose Biosciences ( APTOF ) on Tuesday said that William Rice, its board chair and chief executive has extended a non-interest bearing cash advance to allow it to continue operating in the short term.

The company, which is also in talks with prospective funding partners, warned that without additional funding in the coming days, it may have to consider insolvency proceedings.

Aptose closed at $2.38 on June 13.
