08:28 AM EDT, 05/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Arcadium Lithium ( ARLTF ) said on Friday that it submitted an application to Canadian securities regulatory authorities to cease to be a reporting issuer.

The decision comes after the merger between Allkem Limited and Livent Corporation, which resulted in the creation of the company, was completed.

If the application is approved, the company will no longer be required to file financial statements and other continuous disclosure documents to Canadian securities laws, Arcadium Lithium ( ARLTF ) said.

The application will not affect the company's New York Stock Exchange or the Australian Securities Exchange listings.
