Aug 6 (Reuters) - Arcadium Lithium ( ARLTF ) posted a 5%
drop in quarterly profit on Tuesday on sliding prices for the
metal used to make electric vehicle batteries and said it would
expand its cost cutting plans for the year.
The company posted second-quarter net income of $85.7
million, or 7 cents per share, compared to $90.2 million, or 18
cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.
