09:17 AM EDT, 07/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Archer Aviation ( ACHR ) said Wednesday it has completed an initial flight of its Midnight electric vertical take-off and landing at Abu Dhabi's Al Bateen Executive Airport.

The company said that after the test flight, it will expand its flight-testing program for the aircraft in the region and gather more data for its certification and commercialization in the United Arab Emirates and other key markets.

The company's shares were up over 2% in recent premarket activity.
