08:22 AM EDT, 08/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Arcosa ( ACA ) was the stock pick of the week from Smart Insider after the company's chief executive increased his stake by 3%.

Antonio Carrillo bought $995,000 of stock on Aug. 8 at $82.05, a reversal from a sale at $77.47 in August 2023, Smart Insider said.

Smart Insider also said that Carrillo's purchases at $29.10 in November 2018 and $30.07 in March 2020 "were well timed."

"It's very encouraging to see him now buying into long-term strength," said Smart Insider, which ranked the stock "strong positive signal."
