09:20 AM EDT, 06/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Arcus Biosciences ( RCUS ) said Wednesday it is partnering with Bristol Myers Squibb ( BMY ) to develop a treatment regimen for kidney cancer.
Arcus said that under the agreement, it will supply its casdatifan drug, which will be evaluated in a Bristol Myers Squibb ( BMY )-sponsored phase 1/2 clinical trial.
The trial evaluates pumitamig, jointly developed by BioNTech (BNTX) and Bristol Myers Squibb ( BMY ), alone or in combination with other potential treatment options in advanced renal cell carcinoma.
Arcus said that two arms of the trial will evaluate casdatifan in combination with pumitamig as a treatment for kidney cancer, with each company retaining development and commercial rights to their respective assets in a mutually non-exclusive deal.
