07:13 AM EDT, 10/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ares Management ( ARES ) said Monday it has appointed Bill Benjamin, current co-head of Ares Real Estate, to the newly created position of vice chairman, effective Jan. 1, 2026.

The company said Julie Solomon will continue to lead the Ares Real Estate team as global head of real estate.

In his new role, the company said Benjamin will report to Co-Presidents Kipp deVeer and Blair Jacobson and remain based in London.

He will focus on strategic partnerships within the real estate group, including the integration of GCP International, while also supporting firmwide initiatives, it added.

Benjamin will continue to serve as chairman of the boards for both Ares Commercial Real Estate Corp. and Ares Industrial Real Estate Income Trust, and will maintain his positions on Ares' Real Estate and other investment committees, the company said.
