04:47 PM EDT, 04/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Argan's (AGX) Gemma Power Systems unit received a notice to proceed from Sandow Lakes Energy on a services contract for a 1.2-gigawatt natural gas-fired power plant in Lee County, Texas.

The engineering, procurement, and construction services were added to company project backlogs, and construction is set to start this summer with expected completion in 2028, Argan said Monday in a statement.
