Ari Emanuel's MARI buys digital ticketing platform TodayTix
Oct 20, 2025 8:12 AM

(Reuters) -Global events company MARI said on Monday it has acquired TodayTix Group (TTG), getting access to its platforms that sell tickets for live performances ranging from operas in New York to plays by London's Royal Shakespeare Company.

The deal adds to MARI's rapidly expanding portfolio since its launch just earlier this month by Ari Emanuel - a Hollywood power broker who is also the CEO of TKO Group ( TKO ), the owner of Ultimate Fighting Championship and World Wrestling Entertainment.

He is also the executive chairman of WME Group, a holding company of talent agencies.

MARI has already acquired the Miami Open tennis tournament, Frieze art fairs, and Barrett-Jackson auto auctions.

MARI acquired TTG from private equity firm Great Hill Partners. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

TTG, which also owns London's immersive film and television producer Secret Cinema, operates in the U.S., UK and Australia, has over 20 million members and partners with more than 10,000 cultural institutions. Its brands also include LondonTheatre and Show-Score.

Brian Fenty, TodayTix's co-founder and CEO, will continue leading the company and join MARI's executive team, while co-founder Merritt Baer will remain Artistic Director for Secret Cinema.
