08:28 AM EDT, 04/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aris Mining (ARIS.TO) said Monday it appointed Richard Orazietti as chief financial officer, effective May 16, and Oliver Dachsel as senior vice president of capital markets.

Orazietti previously served as CFO of Westport Fuel Systems (WPRT.TO) from 2019 to 2022.

Dachsel most recently served as managing director on the metals & mining investment banking team at Jefferies in New York, where he worked from 2016 to 2023.

Aris shares closed up C$0.05 to C$4.91 Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
