07:29 AM EDT, 05/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Arizona Metals ( AZMCF ) said Thursday that Marc Pais has stepped down as president and CEO of the company.

The company has tapped Duncan Middlemiss as a replacement for Pais. Middlemiss previously served as CEO at Wesdome Gold Mines ( WDOFF ) .

Also, Jacques Perron has succeeded Paul Reid as chair of the company's board.

Pais and Reid have resigned from the board and will not seek re-election at the upcoming annual and special meeting of shareholders. Middlemiss and Perron have joined the board.

Pais will continue to support the transition as a consultant for an interim period. The changes are effective immediately.

The AGM is scheduled for June 28,
