07:12 AM EDT, 05/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Arizona Metals ( AZMCF ) on Tuesday released assay results from the Kay2 Zone at the Kay project in Arizona, showing continuity and adjacent mineralization in the main Kay deposit to the south.
Drill hole KM-25-180 intersected 44.5 meters at 4.0 g/t gold equivalent, including 9.5 meters at 9.2 g/t gold equivalent and 0.9 meters at 21.7 g/t gold equivalent. Drill hole KM-25-178 intersected three intervals: 18.6 meters at 2.1% copper equivalent, 8.4 meters at 1.9% copper equivalent, and 1.8 meters at 2.4 g/t gold. Drill hole KM-25-179 also returned three intervals: 32.0 meters 5.3 g/t gold equivalent, including 6.1 meters at 10.9 g/t gold equivalent; 1.5 meters at 6.2% copper equivalent; and 7.6 meters at 1.0% copper equivalent.
"The intercepts show substantial thicknesses, consistent grades, and strong continuity-key indicators of a robust mineralized system," said Arizona Metals ( AZMCF ) President and CEO Duncan Middlemiss.
An updated mineral resource estimate remains on track for release in the second quarter.
The company has also received approval from the US Bureau of Land Management for one additional drill pad under an existing permit. The drill pad will allow for additional opportunities to test the Kay North Extension target.
