ARM Launches Lumex Platform to Boost AI performance on Smartphones and PCs

07:24 AM EDT, 09/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- ARM Holdings ( ARM ) said Wednesday it has introduced Arm Lumex, a compute subsystem platform, in an effort to accelerate AI experiences on smartphones and PCs.

The company said this platform enables the ecosystem to bring AI devices to market faster and deliver experiences from desktop-class mobile gaming to real-time translation, smarter assistants, and personalized applications.

ARM Holdings ( ARM ) added that this platform can bring in up to five times uplift in AI performance, close to five times lower latency for speech-based workloads and up to three times faster audio generation.
