Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.32.

Consolidated sales for the quarter ended Sept. 27 were $7.71 billion, up from $6.82 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $7.69 billion.

The company expects fiscal Q4 non-GAAP net income of $3.44 to $3.64 per diluted share on consolidated sales of $7.80 billion to $8.40 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $3.62 per share and $8.28 billion, respectively.
