05:41 AM EDT, 04/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Arthur J. Gallagher ( AJG ) said Tuesday that its acquisition of AssuredPartners in August 2025 is not affected by the recent settlement reached by the US Department of Justice with AssuredPartners and AssuredPartners of South Florida, or APSF.

The company said its acquisition of AssuredPartners does not include AssuredPartners of South Florida.

The settlement is related to certain actions dating back February 2021 through September 2022 at an agency owned by AssuredPartners of South Florida, and Arthur J. Gallagher ( AJG ) said it was aware of the government investigation as part of pre-acquisition due diligence.
