Ascend Wellness Holdings' Q4 Loss Widens, Revenue Rises

07:43 AM EDT, 03/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ascend Wellness Holdings LLC (AAWH.CN), a cannabis operator, on Tuesday reported a fourth-quarter net loss of US$19.3 million ($26 million), or US$0.09 per share, wider than a loss of US$15.1 million, or US$0.08 per share, a year earlier.

Net revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2023, was US$140.2 million, up from US$112.1 million a year earlier.

Adjusted EBITDA for Q4 was US$32.4 million, up from US$28.2 million a year earlier.

As of Dec. 31, 2023, cash and cash equivalents were US$72.5 million, and net debt, which equals total debt less unamortized deferred financing costs less cash and cash equivalents, was US$236.2 million.

The company's shares fell 10.1% in Canada yesterday.
