Asensus Surgical Shares Jump After Shareholders Approve Karl Storz Deal

01:48 PM EDT, 08/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Asensus Surgical ( ASXC ) shares jumped nearly 14% in recent Tuesday trading after the company said its shareholders approved the proposed merger with Karl Storz Endoscopy-America, a unit of Karl Storz SE & Co.

The parties plan to complete the merger on Thursday, Asensus said in a regulatory filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
