05:19 PM EDT, 09/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ashland (ASH) said Tuesday that a production unit at its Calvert City, Kentucky, facility is offline following an equipment incident earlier this month, with repairs expected to be completed in fiscal Q1 2026.
The company said fabrication and installation of new equipment is required, but finished goods inventory and ongoing output from other units will prevent disruption to customer orders.
Ashland said the primary impact will be repair costs and operational inefficiencies. It estimates a minimal adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation impact in fiscal 2025 and about $10 million in fiscal 2026, depending on the timing of repairs.
