09:14 AM EST, 11/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- ASP Isotopes ( ASPI ) said in a regulatory filing Friday that it and Renergen have agreed to extend the date for completing its acquisition of the South African company to Jan. 30.
The date, originally Sept. 30, had been postponed to Nov. 28, the company said.
A further extension will give the companies more time to satisfy closing conditions "relating to the receipt of the remaining required regulatory approval and certain third party consents," including clearance by the Financial Surveillance Department of the South African Reserve Bank, the company said.
Under the deal, Renergen shareholders are to receive 0.09196 new ASP Isotopes ( ASPI ) shares for each Renergen share, the company said.
ASP Isotopes ( ASPI ) also said it has agreed to extend the deadline for final repayment of a term loan to Renergen until Jan. 30.
Shares of ASP Isotopes ( ASPI ) were 1.4% higher in premarket trading.
