04:56 PM EDT, 05/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aspen Technology ( AZPN ) reported fiscal Q3 non-GAAP earnings late Tuesday of $1.70 per diluted share, up from $1.06 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.57.
Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $278.1 million, up from $229.9 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $256.2 million.
The company said it now expects fiscal 2024 non-GAAP EPS of at least $6.29 and revenue of at least $1.10 billion.
The previous guidance was non-GAAP EPS of at least $6.59 and revenue of at least $1.12 billion.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $6.60 and $1.13 billion.
The company also said it named David Baker as chief financial officer, starting June 3.
Baker was previously at Emerson, where he was vice president, financial planning.
Aspen shares were down 1.5% in after-hours activity.
