Aspen Technology Gets Unsolicited $240-per-Share Takeover Bid From Emerson Electric

04:12 AM EST, 11/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aspen Technology ( AZPN ) said late Tuesday it received an unsolicited takeover offer from Emerson Electric ( EMR ) for $240 per share in cash.

The company said its board will carefully review the offer.

Emerson owns about a 57% stake in the software company, Aspen said.
