Asset manager Ares agrees to buy GCP International in $3.7 bln deal

Oct 8 (Reuters) - Asset manager Ares Management Corp ( ARES )

said on Tuesday it will buy the international business

of GLP Capital Partners in a deal valued at $3.7 billion.

The transaction excludes GLP Capital Partners' operations in

Greater China, the company said.
