11:25 AM EDT, 07/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Assurant ( AIZ ) said Tuesday it is collaborating with HEVI, an all-electric heavy construction equipment manufacturer, to allow the latter's customers to buy Assurant Extended Service Contracts that extend protection beyond the manufacturer's base warranty.

HEVI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Greenland Technologies Holding ( GTEC ) .

Shares of Assurant ( AIZ ) were up 0.8% in recent Tuesday trading.
