Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $3.92.

Revenue for the quarter that ended March 31 was $2.88 billion, up from $2.64 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.82 billion.

The company said, during Q1 it repurchased about 225,000 common shares for a total of $40 million.
