AST SpaceMobile, Vodafone Select Luxembourg as Base for Satellite Service JV

04:13 AM EDT, 06/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AST SpaceMobile ( ASTS ) and Vodafone Group ( VOD ) said Monday they have chosen Luxembourg as the base of operations for their new satellite service joint venture.

The joint venture, named SatCo, will provide space-based cellular broadband connectivity to European mobile network operators, the companies said.

Commercial launch of the service is expected in 2026.
