08:50 AM EDT, 10/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- ATCO Structures (ACO-X.TO, ACO-Y.TO) said Monday its U.S. division has been awarded a contract to design, supply and install a worker housing facility for Perpetua Resources' ( PPTA ) Stibnite Gold Project near Yellow Pine, Idaho.
The $179 million (US$130 million) contract includes plans for a 1,052-person dormitory lodge and office facilities, which will be operational in the first quarter of 2027. Initial work in 2025 will be focused on site preparation for construction of the facility, which will start next year, a statement said.
All 363 modular units will be prefabricated at ATCO Structures' climate-controlled production facilities. Once transported to the project site, the modules will be assembled and configured into housing wings, each designed to accommodate 105 people, complemented by central facilities, including kitchen and dining facilities and recreation amenities. The interconnected complex will allow for year-round flow of workers through the dormitory and ancillary buildings.
Stibnite hosts the only reserve of antimony in the U.S, which has helped the project receive funding and support from the U.S. government.
