10:37 AM EST, 01/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AtkinsRealis Group ( SNCAF ) on Thursday said that Water Smart Alliance (WSA), a joint venture with Stantec ( STN ) , has been awarded a Water Program Management contract by the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water).

Under the US$43-million contract, which expires in 2029, WSA will help DC Water to optimize the water portion of their capital improvement plan (CIP), currently valued at US$2 billion, using best-in-class technologies.

AtkinsRealis ( SNCAF ) and its WSA partner have collaborated to furnish program management services for various clients for more than 14 years, including the national flood mapping and risk mitigation program for FEMA and Thames Water technical Partner Framework in the UK.

AtkinsRealis ( SNCAF ) was last seen up $0.06, to $71.60, on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
