AtkinsRealis Q3 Revenue Grows 15% YoY, Beats Consensus Estimate

06:58 AM EST, 11/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AtkinsRealis Group ( SNCAF ) , a global engineering services and nuclear company, on Thursday reported a 15% increase in revenue in the third quarter and hit a record high in total backlog.

Revenue came in at C$2.81 billion, up from $2.45 billion. The result beat the revenue consensus estimate of $2.78 billion for the third quarter as compiled by FactSet.

Net income attributable to AtkinsRealis ( SNCAF ) shareholders was $146.7 million, or $0.88 per share, rising from $103.7 million, or $0.59 per share. The result exceeded the GAAP earnings per share consensus estimate of 0.80 compiled by FactSet.

Among other highlights, the company cited net cash generated from operating activities of $123 million, and total backlog of $21.0 billion, a new record high.

The company is adjusting its Engineering Services Regions 2025 organic revenue growth outlook over 2024 to low-single digit percentage, from the previous expectation of mid-single digit percentage, mainly reflecting lower than expected revenue growth in the USLA and AMEA segments.

AtkinsRealis ( SNCAF ) raised its Nuclear revenue outlook for full year 2025 to between $2.2 billion and $2.3 billion, from the previous range of between $2.0 billion and $2.1 billion, reflecting continued strong backlog and revenue growth year-to-date.

All other financial outlook metrics for full year 2025 are maintained.

Shares in AtkinsRealis ( SNCAF ) rose 1% in Canada on Wednesday.

The Paradip Port Trust (PPT) administration is fully geared up to meet any eventuality of the impending cyclone 'Yaas', Port's Chairman Vinit Kumar said on Monday. According to India Meteorological Department, the deep depression over the Bay of Bengal intensified into cyclone Yaas in the early hours of Monday and it is likely to intensify into a severe cyclonic storm in the next 24 hours. "As the cyclonic storm 'Yaas' is expected to trigger heavy downpour accompanied by high velocity wind in the locality, PPT Administration is fully geared up to meet any eventuality," PPT said in a statement quoting Kumar. According to the statement, the drains in the locality have been cleared on a war footing in order to avoid any possible waterlogging. "Four teams of PPT with chain saws and Pay loader are ready to function roundtheclock during the cyclone to clear the roads due to possible uprooting of trees. "As precautionary measures, no inward movement of ships has been permitted from 2200 hrs of May 23, 2021," it said. The Port had planned only outward movement of ships which was expected to be completed by 1200 hrs on Monday, the statement said, adding all operations will be wound up and the Port will be cleared of all personnel by Tuesday morning. All vessels at Paradip anchorage have been asked to pick up anchor and move to sea, it said.
