10:47 AM EDT, 06/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Candu Energy Inc., an AtkinsRealis ( SNCAF ) company (ATRL.TO), Friday entered into a framework agreement with Orlen-Synthos Green Energy (OSGE) for the planned deployment of a fleet of GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy's BWRX-300 small modular reactors (SMRs) in Poland.
Also, the company entered a teaming agreement with OSGE, Aecon ( AEGXF ) , and GEH in relation to the same deployment.
The company expects its Nuclear market to provide front-end engineering and consulting services as a technical adviser to build a road map for the deployment of the BWRX-300 SMRs at six different proposed sites in Poland.
Orlen-Synthos Green Energy is a joint venture between ORLEN, a multi-energy company in Central Europe, and Synthos Green Energy, a part of the privately owned industrial group in Poland and the exclusive partner of GEH to market and deploy BWRX-300 SMRs in Poland.
ATRL was at last look up $0.47 at $58.95.
