08:34 AM EDT, 05/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AtkinsRealis Group ( SNCAF ) , a global engineering services and nuclear company, on Friday said it won a seven-year contract with Rio Tinto (RIO.L) for the refurbishment of the Isle-Maligne hydropower plant in Alma, Quebec. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The company said it would provide execution engineering, integrated procurement, and construction management services to extend the hydropower plant's operational life for decades.

Shares of AtkinsRealis ( SNCAF ) closed up 11% to $84.25 on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
