06:05 PM EDT, 04/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Atlas Energy Solutions ( AESI ) said Thursday it expects to continue meeting customer demand as usual despite an April 14 fire that has forced to temporary shutter its proppant sand mine in Kermit, Texas.

No one was injured during the blaze, Atlas said. The mine should reopen next week, it said, after auxiliary equipment arrived yesterday to substitute for the feed system damaged in the fire.

Permanent repairs at the facility should be completed by the end of Q2, Atlas said.
