08:50 AM EDT, 07/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aton Resources ( ANLBF ) reported Thursday the results from phase-two diamond drilling program at the Semna gold project in Egypt, confirming the continuation of high-grade gold mineralization in the main vein eastern extension zone (MVZ-EX).

Highlights include 11.69 g/t gold, 19.1 g/t silver and 1.38% copper over 5.19 meters, and 5.05 g/t gold, 8.7 g/t silver and 0.47% copper over 2.55 meters.

The results were from 28 diamond drill holes totaling 4,701 meters. The MVZ-EX zone remains open at depth and along strike.

"The drilling has shown that the high grade mineralization continues over a strike length of at least 500m, with good mineralization drilled in the easternmost hole," said CEO Tonno Vahk.
