08:47 AM EDT, 10/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AT&T ( T ) said Monday it has extended its collaboration with Corning (GLW) with the signing of a multi-year purchase agreement for the supply of fiber, cable, and connectivity products for AT&T's ( T ) fiber network across the United States.

The agreement is valued at more than $1 billion, AT&T ( T ) said.

Under the agreement, AT&T ( T ) will use Corning's Evolv portfolio of connectivity services to "accelerate its network expansion and enhance network performance while minimizing deployment costs."

The transaction complies with the Build America, Buy America provisions of the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment program, AT&T ( T ) said.
